Write lyrics for the piano song "The unfinished story"!
The composer is looking for talented lyric writers/poets to write beautiful lyrics for the music.

Steps to take to enter the contest:
1. Listen to the song "The unfinished story" below, the nylon guitar melody is the singing melody, the piano is the accompaniment.
2. Write lyrics to the singing melody and send a copy to kit.man99@yahoo.com


Helpful tips:
- Try to think of a "story" when writing the lyrics and match the lyric content to the feeling of the music as much as possible.
- Make sure that it is easy to sing as well.
- Write in modern English but other languages are welcome, it would be nice if you could provide an accurate English translation so we can all understand it.

Deadline: The submission period will end on June 9, 2008

Performing rights:
Each lyric writer holds all the rights to the lyrics he creates. If someone decided to buy or license the song including your lyrics you will be able to split the rewards with the composer and the performer. This song and all the music by Isisip is protected by copyright laws. Isisip grants the rights to publicly perform the song "The unfinished story" for this contest only, all other uses or public performances of the music should be licensed through BMI.
(The composer reserves the right to reject any submission if it is not appropriate or offensive.)

More about this writing contest:
Isisip: I wouldn't want lyrics for songs like "my lonely road", I think it might ruin the song if I try to put words to it, and also it might be quite difficult to sing. But "The unfinished story" does have a singable melody, putting lyrics to it would be a great idea and it could be interesting. I was trying to make it sound like the theme of a movie when I was composing it, it could sound good with or without words. I have always wanted to co-create with my listeners and I look forward to seeing and hearing the creative writings of others.

Although it is called a "contest", I'd like to think of it more as a collaboration. We never know how many creative people are out there! However, we will vote and the top 5 lyric writers will each receive a free download of Isisip's album "My music collection" and the song "The unfinished story".
